About Janna

Janna's life attests to her wide range of interests. From the church to autism to various forms of expression, Janna's creative spirit shines through in all of her pursuits. She works during the day as a church secretary and offers her services as a respite worker for autistic children on an occasional basis. Writing, her first love, is often accompanied by various forms of visual or musical art.

A writer is nothing without books, and Janna has a large fiction library consisting of everything from children's books and Young Adult novels to contemporary fiction and literary classics like Jane Eyre and Little Women. Her non-fiction library covers a variety of topics, including psychology, spirituality, and animal care.

Janna is involved in advocacy for the acceptance and understanding of autism, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, and other similarly misunderstood disabilities. She maintains a web site and a blog to help in this undertaking.

Janna and her boyfriend share their home with a female cat named Roy, who seems to think that she is in charge. As is so often the case with pets, she is correct.
